This policy applies to data processed through this website. We process data in accordance with Law No. 195/2024 on Personal Data Protection of the Republic of Moldova and, where applicable, Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (the General Data Protection Regulation, “GDPR”).

We only process the data you provide yourself when you fill in a form on the website, plus the technical data strictly necessary to display the website:

• Contact form: your name, phone number, email address, the service you are interested in, and your message.
• Car cost-estimate request: your name, phone number, budget, and preferred make and model, model year, and fuel type.
• Technical data: when you visit the website, the hosting provider may automatically record your IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the date and time of access in server logs. This data is needed to deliver the website and keep it secure; we do not use it to identify you or to build a profile of you.

Please do not include sensitive data (such as health information) or data about other people who have not agreed to it in your messages.

The website does not use advertising or tracking cookies and does not use any web analytics tools. See our Cookie policy for details.

• To respond to your request and communicate with you about it — based on the consent you give by submitting the form.
• To prepare an offer or a cost estimate, or to take other steps you request before a contract is concluded — based on the need to take steps at the data subject’s request prior to entering into a contract.
• To keep the website running and secure (technical data) — based on our legitimate interest in providing a safe, functioning website.

These legal bases are provided for in Article 6 of Law No. 195/2024 and, where the GDPR applies, in Article 6(1)(a), (b), and (f) of the GDPR.

We do not use your data for direct marketing, we do not sell it, and we do not make decisions based solely on automated processing, including profiling.

Providing data is voluntary, but without a phone number or email address we will not be able to reply to you.

Only the company staff handling your request have access to your data. To run the website, we use service providers that act as our processors, following our instructions and bound by confidentiality obligations:

• Cloudflare, Inc. (USA) — hosts the website, delivers form submissions to our mailbox and forwards email sent to @skmalea.team addresses;
• Atomic Mail (atomicmail.io) — the email service through which we receive and store correspondence.

We disclose data to public authorities only where the law requires us to. We do not share data with any other third parties.

Some of our providers may store or process data on servers outside the Republic of Moldova, including the European Union and the United States (Cloudflare). In such cases, we transfer data only to countries that ensure an adequate level of protection or subject to appropriate safeguards, such as standard data protection contractual clauses, in accordance with Law No. 195/2024. On request, we will tell you which safeguards apply.

We keep form data only as long as necessary to reply to you and prepare an offer, and in any case no longer than 3 years from our last communication with you. If we enter into a contract, the necessary data is kept for the term of the contract and then for the periods required by law (for example, accounting and archiving rules).

Technical data in server logs is kept for a short period set by the hosting provider and then deleted automatically.

If you withdraw your consent or ask us to delete your data, we will delete it without undue delay, unless the law requires us to keep it.

Under Law No. 195/2024, you have:

• the right to information and the right of access — to find out whether we process data about you and to receive a copy of it;
• the right to rectification — to have inaccurate data corrected or incomplete data completed;
• the right to erasure (the “right to be forgotten”);
• the right to restriction of processing;
• the right to data portability — to receive the data you provided in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format or to have it transmitted to another controller;
• the right to object — to processing based on our legitimate interest;
• the right to withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal;
• the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority and to go to court.

To exercise your rights, email us at office@skmalea.team. We will reply without undue delay and no later than one month after receiving your request; in complex cases, this period may be extended by two more months, and we will let you know. We may ask for additional information to confirm your identity.

If you are in the European Union and the GDPR applies to the processing, you have the same rights under the GDPR and may also lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority of the member state where you live or work or where the alleged infringement took place.

We apply appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect data against unauthorized access, loss, or disclosure: the website runs over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), access to requests is limited to the people who need it, and our providers are required to keep the data confidential and secure.

However, no transmission of data over the internet is completely secure. Please do not send us confidential information through the forms unless it is needed for your request.

The website and our services are intended for adults and legal entities. We do not knowingly collect data from persons under 18. If you are under 18, please do not fill in the forms — your parent or legal guardian may contact us instead. If we learn that we have received data from a minor, we will delete it.

We may update this policy, for example if we change providers or add new features to the website (such as a cookieless web analytics tool). The current version is always published on this page with the date of the last update. We will announce significant changes with a visible notice on the website.
